Poker Run Registration
Registration:
$20 covers your registration for the Poker Run or the Show and Shine. If you would like to participate in BOTH, you can do so for a reduced price of Only $30. Just make the appropriate selection on the registration form. Event t-shirts are also available for pre-order starting at $20. We encourage all that register to bring at least (6) canned food items to benefit Veterans food pantry and you will receive (1) Blue Raffle Ticket; if you bring (25) can goods you will receive (1) Red Raffle Ticket in return for your donation. Make sure to bring your canned items inside to the registration table on the day of the event!
How To Play:
There will be multiple poker run stops throughout the City & County of Wilson, NC. At each stop, you will find two CPJC volunteers with a deck of cards. When you arrive, draw ONE card from the deck. Once you have drawn your card: Write the card number/value on your scorecard. Circle the suit of the card you drew. Before leaving each stop, and make sure a volunteer stamps your scorecard. Your stamp is proof that you visited the stop, so don’t leave without it! HIT THE ROAD! Take your time traveling between stops and enjoy the day! While you’re there, we encourage you to patronize our participating local businesses and check out what each stop has to offer. Once you’ve completed the stops, head back to the Connect Church Campus with your scorecard. READY TO LOCK IN YOUR HAND? Once you return, you can turn in your scorecard(s) when you’re satisfied with your poker hand. Not happy with your hand? Don’t worry—you’ll have one last chance to improve it! Card Exchanges: With an Ace: You may exchange up to 4 cards. Without an Ace: You may exchange up to 3 cards. Each replacement card is $5. Cards will be exchanged according to the poker run rules at the finish. You may only exchange cards one time. Once you’re happy with your final hand, turn in your scorecard for judging!
WINNERS & AWARDS will be announced once all poker hands have been tallied and the chili judging, and show & shine are complete. We’ll announce: Raffle Winners, 2026 Poker Run Winners, Jeep Show & Shine Winners, Chili Cook-Off Winners Trophies & Cash Prizes. So grab your crew, fire up those Jeeps, visit the stops, collect your cards, and bring your best poker face! GOOD LUCK & HAVE FUN! The best hand wins—but the real goal is to enjoy the ride, support our local community, raise canned food for our Veterans and have a great day!
